I had to replace the front axle in my 1990 ranger 4 x 4 after my son put it in the ditch and bent it. I found one from a 1993 Ranger with the same gear ratio. I originally had manual hubs and the new axle has automatic hubs. I am having issues with the automatic hubs. Can I simply swap my manual hubs from the old axle to the new one? The manual hubs are ok.

I am also getting a vibration when you get to around 55 mph. I think my automatic hubs aren't disengaging and causing the issue.

you can put the manual hubs on the auto axle, just make sure you use the nuts and washers from the axle that had the manuals on it originally.
