OK so my transfer case shift control module petered out on me and I don't want to spend $750 on a new one and was wondering if there was a floor shift tcase that would work on a 1993 ranger 4.0 5 speed and if so what all would I need to do so?

Find any 4.0 Ranger earlier than 1998, or any 91-94 Explorer that has 5-speed/manual T-case, grab the shifter, boots, and case, and then get down to the rip and tear.

I just swapped my B2 over using mostly parts I had laying around.

Sorry to dig this up, but better than creating a new one right??

Does it matter if the donor vehicle was standard or auto? All the information that I have gotten from the seller is that its manual and from a 91 ranger. I know I need to find out more but does it make a difference?
Thanks.

It makes a little bit of a difference. The shifter bezel will be different, and there are some minor differences with the linkages. Nothing too horrible to overcome.
