Automatic battery cut-off?

My '00 Explorer has a drain too, I have a feeling it's the air suspension that has a leak somewhere, I thought it was supposed to give up after a bit of key off but it seems to try to keep it level... I think I'm going to turn the switch off and see...

I have a terminal connector like pictured above but it does completely separate. It's on the 2011 for parking in a base parking lot for deployments. The other can be driven by the girlfriend while I'm gone and will be available for her in case her car breaks down. Part of the reason I got it in the first place.
