Autocraft Economy Battery?

so i went to go hunting this morning and my truck wouldn't start. Jumped it off and the battery wouldn't charge. Long story short i got an autocraft economy series battery bc it's all I can afford now. Jw if anyone's had any experience with it? Thanx

I have had bad a couple experiences with them. I bought one for a truck several years back and it did not last two years, my wifes car had one in it when we bought it, the guy said he had just put it in ,he could have been lying but it looked new, but anyways it did not last one year. I have never heard anything good about them, these are just my experiences so good luck hope it goes better for you.

Best of luck with the battery, but the word "economy" in a product name is rarely a good thing....

Get it replaced as soon as you can. I've had em and had nothing but problems.

When I was low on funds and had more time than money and needed a battery, here's what I did. The local used auto parts recycler had a display rack of batteries they pulled from the vehicles as they came in. Only the better quality ones that looked great were pulled, then they charged and tested them and sold the good ones for $15.00 each. If you had a problem with one you just brought it back and got another. Maybe there is one inyour area.

yep im running a genuine junkyard battery 20$
picknpull/pullapart sells them but get there when they open because the good ones are gone real quick i got one that looks to be for a geo or something only 500 cranking amps orso but it works for now

i usually run the returns from advance auto parts. people buy a battery and say they are no good advance auto charges and checks them then if they are good they will sell them put you have to ask for them. i have three of them and they do good.
