auto hub or manual hub ?

i have a 95 ranger 4x4 with auto hubs i am debating wether it is worth putting manual hubs on my truck ?

Could not have put it any better!
for the money you put into the manual hubs, and the time it takes to put them in, it's like buying a lump of coal, taking it home, only to find it's a diamond!

i have a 95 also, and did the warn manual hubs. hubs, spindle nut kit and 2 hours and i have never had a problem.

The auto hubs are a wear item. they simply wear out.

The manual hubs Don't really have any parts that wear against each other so they tend Not to wear out. =>

my dads truck had auto hubs untill the day it left me sitting in a ditch because the ****ers stopped working and only had rwd. the next day it had manual hubs
