Aussie Locker question

So I ordered my locker last night and I just realized something.

The locker said it was for a 31 spline axle (which I have). My question is, it didnt specify what size cross pin it took.

Does anyone know what size that locker takes and does it matter? (I have both sizes 3/4 and 7/8)

Oh, and I did look the locker part # up by application on their website before I ordered it so I SHOULD be fine.

Lol sorry bro. Im asking what axles did the 3/4" cross shaft axle come in (eplorer? F150?) and what year the 7/8" shaft com into play?

7/8" in all 8.8" 31spline axles I believe. 3/4" for 7.5" 28spline.

87 or 86 and older (found in F150s/FSBs) had 3/4" cross-pins.


Aussie only makes them for 7/8" pins AFAIK.

Yep, '83-'86 F-150/Bronco 8.8s have the ¾" pins & 31 spline shafts. The only other 8.8s to get ¾" pins after that are all 28 spline.
