Amen brother. My dad was in the Navy between '48 and '50. Never had to serve in a war but he always said it made him a better man. I would agree. I actually wouldn't mind having the draft back. I've got two boys who could be in there and I wouldn't mind it one bit. It might be hard, but they would come out better men. Congrats all of you service men/women. Happy memorial day.

I tried to find it on Youtube but cannot.

A couple decades ago there was a short flick called 'Cadence' and I believe it was on NBC. This was long before the advent of what we now see as commonplace with 1000's of channels to watch.

A single Infantryman with his M1 Garand showing control and exceptional ability to handle it. The clip was awe inspiring. Nothing but the man and the weapon he was trained to use.
