any one else getting ripped of or is it just me

i was looking at my phone bill and i noticed that on the add a line for 9.99 the taxex are 15 99 and the will not tell what that tax is all about im getting charge 15 99 ano each phone line and i have 5 lines my bill went from 130 to 190 and they are not telling what is going on

just seeing if this hapend to any one else or just me

Not sure about that one...maybe there is a new tax in your state...

What ticks me off is the minutes on pay as you go...$25 is good for 60 days only...if you don't use them up they disappear...that is the biggest ripoff I've ever seen...used my phone only once in 60 days and it cost me $25...a payphone is only 50¢, but you can never find one on the side of the road when you need one...

Getting ready to kick those DICKWEEDS to the curb,I killed my kids phone line and wifes cell phone and the bill went up.$237 for one line and fast access dsl.

Anyone recommend comcast for phone and internet?

I have a pay as you go also... I get 300 minutes for $30 and that card gets me another 60 days to use them. I usually use 100-250 minutes a month and currently I have until Aug. 21 to use 289 minutes.

I just switched my phone service from ATT to Charter. I'm getting cable, unlimited local and long distance, and 5 meg broadband internet for $108 a month. I was paying ATT almost $50 a month just for phone service. Comcast may offer some similar deals.

I have Verizon. Verizon is the only cell company that works at my house. =]

My wife and I just swapped from Sprint (sux) to AT&T and the service at our house (sticks) is a thousand times better, plus our bill for 3 phones and an internet card is what we were paying for on 2 phones with less time with Sprint (sux).

i had a 2 yr. contract trough them last year with 2 lines one for me the other for the wifey, it was suppose to be with text, media net, call waiting and 500 any time min, pluse free nights and weekends to be $170 a month and there was a sale going on and we got free activation. but on the first bill they charged me the activation after about a 40 min conversation i had the carges droped. on the secound bill they called a head to tell me my bill would be $385 because we didn't have unlimited text and muli-media i just had regular text and no muli-media but they could put my on a plan that is a extra $20 a month and drop the other charges, so i get my bill and it charges me $20 per line. any way my bills where never under $220 a month so i called them up to cancel my contract but after seveal hrs and them tring to sell me a differnet service they cancelled it but they sent me a bill for $1200 dallors and i'm still fighting them they are the worst phone company out there, hands down!! but out of all the cells companys i've had verizon is the only i had droped calls and the least amont of service areas. the exact opposite from there comercials, i hate them both.

My account with AT&T was 6 years old. We had four phones, and for a while, for business reasons I was carrying a fifth (two phones just for me) After multiple billing disputes, questionable charges, and what I thought was just crappy behavior on their part - I told them I was due to upgrade my phone. They refused. I went to another phone company and closed that account. . . never to return. They are indeed, Ranger_mclaren the worst company out there.

My Verizon has not been quite as bad as your experience - but I've moved to a more rural area and all cell phone calls are spotty here.

I had AT&T for years and they were great. When Cingular bought them they really went down hill. Customer service was nonexistent. I switched to Verizon and have been very happy. I've had a few billing issues and they worked through them without any hassles. They even credited my bill to a greater degree than what was warranted as a way of making up for the hassle. I'm happy with Verizon and HATE AT@T (Cingular).

Comcast are the biggest commie bastards there are. They SUCK, SUCK, SUCK. Get anything other than comcast. I lose internet all the time and when I call them they don't care. The sound on TV goes out a lot and they don't care. "It's not our fault, it's the satellite signal". That's just my opinion but DON'T DO IT! If your wondering, they aren't on my Christmas mailing list.
