How do you remove the cigarette lighter tray, and ash tray in a 1995 Ford Ranger?
Need to remove them for a 1999 Ford Explorer console install.

Pull the tray open. Reach back in the center, top. There is a tab you need to pull down slightly to let the tray come out completely. If I recall, the bracket is held in with screws. Wires for cigar lighter and light will unplug from the harness.
