I am looking at a truck that doesnt have a bed on it right now and i will not have time to put a bed on it for a few weeks, My question is in arkansas was does it take to be legal to drive, it has a bumped but nothing else, i know i will need lights but is there anything else, i know some states require mud flaps, but no clue what they require hear, i dont think the local cops will give me any trouble but the state troopers will

call the station and ask a trooper. here in pa as long as you have flaps and lights it's a go.. but I'd have no clue for your area.

I live in El Dorado AR. and ran my toyota for a month or two without a bed, back bumper, front bumper or grille last year. ( I had the tag in the back window and the taillights zip tied to the frame.) Only problem I had with the gestapo was the fact that it was 2 inches off the ground and looked ugly as sin

I'm have no knowledge of the laws there, but I assume all it will need is flaps and lights, at a minimum.

Its arkansas......It was run by fawking Bill Clinton, anything goes. Geez. When you get pulled over just say " dude the gov'ner was blown by a dirty slut in the oval office and your worried about my truck not having a bed?"
