So, I have this:

It's splotched, it's wobbly, it's loose, and it falls slowly. It's beat.

I happened into this:

this week. Guy bought a used truck, complained that the mirror had a tiny bit of wobble at the base (About the same or less than my existing mirror) and so we replaced it. Nobody cares what happened to the old one.

I figure if I put that, and this

together, I can put this

in this

and have this :yahoo::yahoo::headbang:

Oh, and an electrochromatic, auto-dimming mirror.

Horray indeed sir.

It should be epic easy too. It only needs 3 wires. All the light sensors and brains are internal to the mirror.

so you did go completely bald eh? thought you were gonna try hair?

Cool, now fix that bumper and get rid of that bald guy in your camera lens and it will be a perfect world!!!! lol

:icon_rofl::icon_rofl:

The bumper is on the list of "to be fixed". Along with the bent fender behind it.

Stupid Pontiac.

Yeah, I like the auto dim in the Escape. I lucked into a $350 mirror for free, and figured that for a $45 investment and a Saturday afternoon I could use it on my truck.

And I too was thinking Pinky and the Brain when I titled the thread.

Right, because that will reflect the light better than the beard/goatee and autodim the mirror better.

that was one weird math problem...i'm glad we didn't have those in school... lol

You luck into another one and send it to me, I'll make it worth your while.

I love the self-dimming mirror in my Vue.

These things are rare to come by in usable form because of how expensive they are, but if I find one I'll keep you in mind Dave.
