I have been thinking about adding a rear sway bar to my 2008 Ranger XL because it didn't come with one from the factory and was wondering if there are holes already in the frame because I don't want to go through the hassle of drilling the holes?

Holes should be there. I just did a half frame swap on a 2000 Ranger, 4x4 with sway bars and all. Frame section was from an unknown year 2wd Ranger with no sway bar, but the holes were there and it bolted right up.

my 2005 XL had the holes.

the one next to the gas tank is difficult.

Okay. The next time I change the oil in my Ranger, I'm going to look to see if the holes are there before I buy a sway bar.
