ok, so Ive decided its time to play with the trany a bit. Im trying to decide what I should go with, my truck weighs 4500lbs give or take. Its got a fresh motor and 3.27 :1 gears. Im looking for a LOT firmer shift, any one have any recomendations?

I'd use a Transgo AOD shift kit. Summit Racing sells them, but some guys on eBay have better prices. When looking on eBay you want the one in the red, white & blue box, should be around $80 - $100, the Summit Racing one comes in a different box, it's the same thing & costs more.

so, hows the trans go kit work? just firms up the shifts? Im kinda loking for the hardest shifts i can get

Just because a trans is shifting hard doesn't mean it's working better.

no shit lol. but a firm shift means clutch's and breaks in the trany are sliping less, reducing heat and wear.
