Hey i was wondering if anyone here has used the 8'' lift kit from skyjacker? I want to put it on an 90 v6 4x4 5 speed and was wondering if anyone has done this. thanks

Don't do it. 8" makes the TTB unalginable. If you want the height , go SAS.

you could do a SJ class 2 6" lift and a 2" body lift and be just about as high.

why???? I had to trim my fenders a little but I got 38" under my truck with 3-4 of lift.

i really just want the chassis clearance, im have to do more rock hopping and log crawls than anything else around here, im impressed tho... 38s! dang!:icon_thumby:

X4, I'd like to see pics too. I know with my 6" and 33s I rub inner fenders when I flex. 38s and a 4"... must be pretty stiff suspension.

Here is y truck. It have chevy 63" springs with belltech shacles and the rear sits a little higher then the front. The front springs are wildhorse 5.5" progresive springs that are mounted 2" higher on the frame then stock springs. this truck is designed to have more down travel then up travel. Enjoy

Dude....an SAS fullwidth axle is a big difference from the stock TTB....

and i might add that your idea of a "little trimming" = "really hacked up" in my book...( but that is my opinion)

anyways...on a TTB 38" tires would never fit with 3-4"s of lift....unless ya hacked the fenders within an inch of their lives...

Why? Because it makes a world of difference trying to fit 38s on TTB rig or a SAS'd truck as 3-4" of lift on either one is comparing apples to oranges.

Getting 38s to fit on 3-4" of on a TTB equipped ranger would mean running no fenders lol.

That being said, what kind of front axle did you swap in there small ranger?

:icon_confused:

Way to stay on topic, small ranger! We were talking about TTB lifts and you pipe up about fitting 38's and -- I quote -- "trimmed" fenders with 3-4" of lift. Dude, you have a 3-4 inches of fullsize SAS lift and -hacked within an inch of their lives- fenders.

Just a wee bit of difference.
