Speed is having a marathon right now with pimp my ride. I remember the show being ridiculous but man it has just gotten worse with age.

Anyone ever see the 1st gen Ranger episode? I'm sure plenty of you have but, for old times sakes, here it is.

I dont really know...04 or so? If you're talking about the truck, its an 85.

i seen that reuinion on the last couple weekends on Speed. the ranger was on last weekend.
they havent touched a vehicle yet without adding at least a million tv screens and PlayStation 2's

my thing is..... do they rebuild the motor? fix oil leaks?

kinda like CMT's trick my truck- some of those semi's had like a million miles on them and you could tell it... they made it look awesome but did they fix the driveline?

big rigs are built to handle those miles, my dad sold one of his western starts with near 3 million on it and only drive train work it had was a couple u joints and that was in the 1.5-2 million range. but i see what your getting at, there more of the exterior pimp

Another thing is that they do nothing with the motors or drivetrains - how poppin can it really be if there is a tired as 2.3L under the hood - uhg - showtrucks make me puke.

I remember they rebuilt a VW and put a new engine and transmission in it.

there was a Escort that the engine was messed up, and they dropped a new engine in it too.

then there was a old Cougar, they put a new Ford Racing engine in it.
