OK got an 02 Nissan altima 4 cylinder that has no codes and likes to foul plugs sometimes. (yes I did say sometimes)

If car sits overnight it starts right up if you let it sit after it has been running it will foul plugs sometimes :icon_confused:

I have confirmed that fouling only takes place when cranked (plugs dry beforehand fouled after cranking). Thing is that it has spark when it happens.

I am thinking CKP or CMP. What do you think?

Fuel pressure regulator has a leaking diaphragm--my guess. Pull off the vacuum line--there should be no evidence of raw fuel.

Its not burning oil is it? Or low on compression?

Have to check fuel pressure regulator

Compression good and no oil burning

It to me seems like it is electrical like a bad sensor or wiring
