I have a 97 4 banger that has the converter off, and it seems to have alot of steam out the tailpipe, more so when its around 0 degress out. It"s not losing any coolant, runs great, I was curious to know if removing the converter had any affect on this. the converter was removed when the weather was warmer. it does not do this when it gets above freezing, anyone know if this is normal?

water is a component of the combustion of gasoline, steam of any form is more noticable at low temperatures...
