Anyone near Shipshewana?

I have to drive up to Shipshewana tomorrow and pick up a trailer for work. Anyone live close by?

I think this will be something I do about once a week until spring if all goes well...

I have to drive a chebby though..

It's ok, it will blow the hell out of my F-250 in acceleration.

Watch out for the buggys. I always end up driving slower then i want to up there.

Well I am back.

I left Columbus at about 4:50am. I took Route 33 up thru Marysville, Bellfountaine, etc and came right into Decatur then thru Fort Wayne. Got on 65 (or 69 don't remember) and took that to 20 West. I only missed my turn once by the Fort Wayne Airport. It took me until 9:20am to get up the factory. I used a little under 1/2 a tank of gas.

Your right... There were buggies all over the place, I was half expecting to see horses parked outside the KZ Inc plant.

It was icy up there. I pulled into the parking lot and tried to hook onto the trailer and I couldn't even get the truck to back up a slight hill. Had to put it into 4WD to even move.

They sent me back with a 32' camper and it was windy as hell today. I used a weight distribution hitch and that almost eliminated the sway, passing semi's didn't even phase it. I had to stop for gas twice on the way back.. Ouch!!

I pulled back onto work property at 2:15pm.

All in all for a first trip up there, with no map showing me how to go all the way up route 33, I think I did fairily well.

Man I am tired, I only had 3 hours of sleep last night.
