I just got an '88 2WD 2.9. My wife's cousin has had it in Dallas for the past ~5 years and hasn't even driven it in two. Got a 4 up U-haul trailer, borrowed a truck, put a new battery in the Ranger - started right up. Been changing fluids, belts, wipers, tires etc. like a madman ever since. It's going to be my daily driver.
