sockets and combination wrenches, I need more tools!!
they have a few oddball sizes I want.

good? bad? don't care????
where are they made? I'm trying to stay away from China, but Taiwan is OK for me.

I'm not looking for the absolute best, just a decent tool at a modest price.

I have a Tekton hex driver set a 1/4" socket set, and an o2 socket set all bought on amazon. They are way better than harbor freight stuff, but also not quite snap-on either. They are made all over the place but an american company. Some stuff says made in USA, some says made in China, some says made in Taiwan. I plan on picking up some other stuff from them in the future...

I have a T handle allen set thats a few years old and still nice and hexy.

I have a variety and they all seem pretty solid to me. Never broke one and I'm pretty good at breaking things... I just looked at my 50-250 lbft torque wrench and all it says is Michigan Industrial Tools Inc, Grand Rapids MI. I don't see a "made in xxx" anywhere. The booklet inside was printed in Taiwan.

I have one of their channel lock looking oil filter wrenches... it doesn't come out often,,, but every time it does it works.

I have a few odds and ends from Tekton.

I have a giant 3/4" ratchet from them that I use primarily for breaking stubborn bolts. It doesn't get used often, but has held up well. The finish was peeling off of it within a year, but it was also stored in a rather harsh environment. My garage in Northumberland left much to be desired, particularly in the areas of walls without big holes, and not being full of snakes.

You should turn that garage into a church. It's already holy.
