So I'm pretty set on getting 2" Springtech springs for the front of my truck but was undecided on what shocks to get. I was just going to go with some ProComp ES3000s but then I saw these. They are the Doetsch Baja Ryders. They seem like a good upgrade from your generic off-road shock without going to a race shock. Has anybody used these or heard any reviews on them?

I would like to know too cause i just went two inches higher in the front and i wanna do some desert running and i need some shocks.

They look to be pretty decent, but I suggest you save up for a rebuildable shock. If budget is important, check out F-O-A.

I will even help. Haha.

Ya the FOA's are super nice and at a great price. The only reason I was interested in the Doetsch shocks was for people like me who need to have a shock that mounts in the factory location up front. Those shocks seem to be pretty long and they have an eyelet at the top where mine has a stud. Plus they are pretty cheap still.

fyi, fox makes a shock that bolts into the stock location. most places dont list them, but you can order them. not sure if theyre rebuildable, but from what i remember they are
