I creamed my pants.

You'll crap them when it comes time to fill the tank every couple days.

Don't understand why the hell these hogs are still being built.

The new hummers? I haven't seen one actually. I wonder how they look like... Does anyone of you got a photo of it? Hmmm... Perhaps I'll just search the web.

It looks like a truck!:tease:

I like them.

If you can AFFORD it, then filling it up with gas won't be a problem for you.

A little off topic, but I saw a new Challenger tonight. They look nice....little shorter than I imagined.

The new Hummers are interesting. Petersen's did a write-up on the prototypes a while back. They do look like a truck for more hauling and cargo space (even rich guys like to carry toys). Plus, and I don't remember the details, but apparently the drive train got a few upgrades. Something about new locker or better locker, something along those lines. Props to them, they're slowly but surely building a capable 4x4 off the lot. Now if only it was affordable...

Because people are willing to buy one (granted they're going to bitch about the mileage, but they'll still buy it).

My buddy Wrango has one of the new Challenger. He got one of the first thousand, so its an automatic tranny. I asked him about it and he says its a grandma car. Says that the 6.1 hemi doesnt feel like much with the car weighing 4100 pounds and having the squishy suspension and hella body role.

If they built the HX I'd buy one

It's an H3...meaning 5 banger, or 5.3L. I'd take a 5.3L in that and get better mileage then a 4.0L with an auto in any excab ranger. It's a great engine that makes a ton of power for it's size and gets great fuel economy. I followed my dad in his crewcab short bed half ton with a 5.3L auto for a 1000km trip, all flat highway. He averaged 24mpg, 3.42 gears and 30" tires, I averaged 19mpg, 3.73's and 33's with an average speed over trip of 105km. The H3 isn't the gas hog the H2 is....
