Anybody go to Denny's?

I went with a friend, the lines weren't too bad. A 30 or so minute wait was worth it for free food.

I have not shared that particular fact about Denny's before. They used to be good but in recent years their quality just doesn't seem to be there anymore and the employees get more rude every year.

I stop there with a friend with the intention of free food. But after standing in line for awhile I realized it was only $5-10 worth of food?

My time is worth more than to stand in line for a couple bucks. lol

I've noticed their food has gone to shit as well, and they stopped serving many items (like WTF!??? You can't get a damn baked potato with your hamburger or steak anymore!) I hadn't noticed the ruder waiters, but they've often been quite inattentive as far back as I can remember though.
Plus their prices have basically doubled over the last 5 years or so, making their mediocre food cost what GOOD food at other restaurants cost. I gave up on them about 1½ years ago.

'bout the same time for me ........ 1 1/2 or 2 years ago..... Bob Evans is better. Another one I am not fond of anymore is Outback Steakhouse. The Texas Roadhouse is better, better food and its a peanut shell and saw dust on the floor proper steak house.

The first time I went to a Texas Roadhouse I was like WTF is all this shit on the floor! It was cool though!

i love steak houses but the girlfriend wont go 1) doesnt like steak. i dont know why its the best thing out there 2) thinks the peanuts on the floor is gross and unsanitary.

I don't know. I can get a steak at Denny's for 20 bones including tip, and it isn't terrible. A "good" place around here can cost $75 for a plate. No drinks or tip included.
