I really like the 98 and up bearing, rotor, etc. setup as opposed to the 97 and older. Is there a way to somehow adapt the 98+ setup to fit the 97 and later without doing all of the other stuff (axle, r&p)? I wish I had some of that stuff laying around the other day when I was in there.

I did a search and didn't find anything.

no because the axle set ups are completely different. you might be able to make your own adapter bracket to fit the caliper and mounting bracket from a 1998+ onto a 95-97, but since theyre both twin piston calipers i dont see any advantage to doing it?

I want to do it to have a sealed bearing like the newer trucks.

I'll take the older (serviceable) setup over cartridge bearings any day.

Swap in a solid axle from a later Jeep or Superduty... :icon_welder:

I would rather have the older style setup, a lot cheaper/tougher.
