Seriously, I thought the Haynes printed manual was inadequate, so I went on e-Pay and got the Chilton's on CD... gads, the number of things NOT covered might exceed the number that are. And most of the illustrations look like they are copies of copies of copies, which finally got so bad, that someone touched them up by hand with a marker, LOL!
The only upside is that being a .pdf file, you can search all 621 pages in about 13 secs. with the click of the mouse... but OOPS, the search does not go inside the MANY click-to-open diagrams, tables, and schematics... bugger.
Am I looking at spending $140-$205 for the "official" Helms shop manual, in order to get the "straight dope" and details?
For awhile on Ebay last year, a few (probably Chinese or Paki) sellers had Helms manuals on CDs for ridiculously low prices, under $12... must've been pirated... dang, shoulda snagged one.
