Any requirements to run great?

Let's say I have a 92 4.0

The heads have been ported/polished
Got a mild cam in it (411? Idk)
Headmen heads to y pipe
And Tb upgrade

Does this need to be tuned at all electronically?
An can I run regular gas with this?

I only ask b/c I bought an engine that's suppose to has the upgrades (heads look good but idk bout cam but I believe him) to swap my 2.9 out with and I just want to get any and all info on the topic.

port polish shouldn't need a tune, nor the y pipe or tb upgrade, the cam might, depending on size, i don't know enough about cams to know what a 411 is...

yes regular gas, your fuel type is dependent on your compression ratio, and your compression ratio hasn't changed, the only reason to change your fuel grade is a stroker kit, heads with smaller combustion chambers, or a power adder (turbo/blower, ect)

Very cool an useful, thanks . Pretty sure the cam jus means I'll get better air flow within the piston after lookin into it some.

I really hope you don't have any air flow in the pistons. I have seen engines like that, they rarely run, and when they do it's not well.
