any dirt track racers here?

one of my buddys got a protege a couple weeks ago and done a bit of work on it and got a load of sponsors and is racing it at the dirt track here, and it looks like its fun as hell. i deffinetly want to start it.. thing is first i need to know the rules and regulations and classes and all that. is there a way to find out what the classes are online or is it just something that can be found by just going in there and seeing the people who run the joint? another thing, any advice on which type of car to get, or style, 4 door vs 2 door, weight differences, etc. whatever i get will be standard for sure. any advice you guys have would be great

Use to run cars, everthing from 4cly mods to latemodels. Now we run karts. Very fun but like any outher hobby, LOTS OF MONEY.....Have fun and besafe.
