I really like the preformed plastic tool cases you get at Sears with the tools, everything fits in a indention in the case. Much easier to track tools after a job. The only weak side is the latches.
Is there anything out there, a do-it-yourself kit or otherwise where I can take the tools I have now, and make me a custom fit tool case?
I've thought about getting a slab of wood and actually carving/dremeling out the contours of tools and then building a lid around it(maybe a lexan lid), but if there is something made of lighter weight materials out there I sure would like to know.
