I feel like I rarely see Rangers (older than 1999) with two-tone paint jobs, stripes, anything like that. The body doesn't have the same lines/breaks as the older models, but I'm curious what some non-solid paint jobs look like on newer models. Anyone do anything like this to their truck?

I think I mentioned before, I'm going to go with black and tan, I'll probably paint the bottom, bumper, mirrors, and wheel flares. Got the cap on top of the bed now it's not quite ready but it's on there my neighbor help me put it up.

I was looking at a white truck & planned to 2 tone like purple-white truck in post above, but I was going to do lower panel too. Was going to do bright blue, but most any color goes w/ white.

Mine is white. I was thinking black cab down to the wiper panel, then down to the body line. I haven't seen it so it's hard to explain.

Yea I'm thinking about doing the lower half black, something like this.

those will help you look like a thousand other rangers, is that what you were going for?

It's simple and smart to paint using the body lines as starting and stopping points. I've seen some where they go above or below a body line and looks goofy as hell. I wouldn't mind looking like 1000 other rangers if it does what it supposed to do. That spray on bed liner is tough stuff especially if you are off roading or just have bad winters like here in Ohio. You could change it up easily and add a bright pinstripe between the two solid colors like a bright green or orange.
