Well, the body work is finally done from the infamous "Kung Pao Maxima Incident of 2010". So is the bonus b-day body work for the rest of the truck. I found a couple runs, but the guy said to bring it back if I found anything like that. I almost don't recognize the truck. It had a ton of scratches and dents when I got it, and I'm used to seeing those when I walk up to it. Not seeing them freaks me the hell out.

On a side note, I'm searching for a bug deflector. I also gotta get a replacement passenger door lock ($100 from Ford, plus $50 to have it set to my key). My crappy paint job on the valence, rear bumper pad and door handles no longer blends in with the crappy paint that the truck had, so I'll have to redo those.

Also, ignore the political bumper sticker. It's covering a massive dent that my brother put in it when he had my bed on his truck. Might solve that problem with a roll pan or something... hopefully soon.

ya curious bout the paint job. i so that 9mm dent is from a moron trying to make it look like he got shot at and his bullet backwards and it shot him leaving a "take-off" dent in truck.

Given that dent location, the non factory glass, the amount of glass that was hidden in the interior, and that it originally was at some camp site or something in AZ... I think it was vandalized via handgun somewhere in the first five years of its life.

Um... the damage from the "accident" was estimated at $2,100. That was a replacement door, rocker being completely reformed, x-cab and bedside. Since my family has given this body shop a good amount of business over the years, he threw in the drive side fender for free.
Then my parents surprised me for my b-day by getting the rest of the truck done for $1,500. So in total $3,600 but with the deductible we paid $2,000.
It's a long way off, but he'll be doing my SVO and LTD in the future too.
