Don't know where to post this as its a question about tires cutting and lifting.

Got a 2 inch body lift. Was going to buy 33s but a buddy has got brand new 35s on 5x4.5 rims he's gonna sell me for 350$. Its a no brains ill buy them.

I've seen a first Gen ranger on here with 35s no lift. I've seen 35s with 3 inch body and no trimming (trimming needed).

Just not 35x12.50 with 3.75 back space on 10 inch rim. 2 inch body. I know I can trim it thought to fit. Only thing I'm worried about is the firewall. Ill trim all the way to the firewall but I don't want to modify it with a hammer.

Any input?

I had 31x13.5 on a first gen ranger with no lift, and they rubbed like a mofo. Not sure of the backspacing and offset on my Welds though. I know its B2, but these are the same Welds from my Ranger, 4" lift, with brand new 33x13.5 Nittos. I had to trim up the corners of the fenders to stop rubbing(still rubs on tie rod ends and radius arms, but over bumps turning still rubs. In my opinion for a cheaper way, again just an opinion, suspension lift would be best, but a 3" body lift and some trimming would do for 35's. This was my stock height ranger on those 31x13.5

if you can't get a 4" lift with the money you just saved on tires....

do the washer lift plus a budget boost, if you don't know the budget boost... read the tech library..

I folded all the seams on the firewall with a 5lb hammer and trimmed the fenders as needed when I stuffed 35's on with no lift, worked well and keeps the truck low so no loss in handling at high speed.
