ok i can figure out for myself that using hockey pucks for a lift would probably not be the best idea, but a few of my factory bushings need to be replaced... would hockey pucks work for that? just a single puck, not a stack...

No...not for bush leagues...Hockey should be played on ice and with uniforms, referees and a few linesmen...get a heater in the penalty box if you have a bunch of fighters on the teams though...it makes them more flacid, er, placid...

I wouldn't use pucks for trucks...you can pick up proper bushings for about the same price and they are designed to take the bumps...

Either way you have to go through the trouble of taking old ones out and replacing them so it would be silly to not use actual body mounts. It would be easier to buy new mounts since they aren't all the same height. Hockey pucks are wider than the mount brackets too so it would be a real pain to get them to fit. Body mount replacing isn't easy as is so just go with actual mounts. A lot safer and lasts longer too.

STOP. NO MORE HOCKEY PUCK CRAP!!!!! This has been posted way to much. Pucks break and you might get hurt or damage some suspension components. using them. If you only need a bit of lift you can use a well made spacer. You can get them anywhere...4x4 shops, Ebay.

Ahhhhhhhhhh...no more hockey puck crap.....Ahhhhhhhhhhh

... take it down a step dude... i was just wondering...

Not to worry...they're just jealous because there are no hockey pucks in their area...but go with the real thing and you will be happier than a pig in poop...

haha nice analogy... yeah, im just on a budget and i was wondering if this is one of those things that doesnt really need to be stellar... obviously it is so thanks :D

You can use pucks for a bodylift/bushings. Not recommended for either but you can if you so desire. I would get a poly bushing set. Lasts longer and safer.

There are no NHL games to be found in the Canada area right now, but there are in the USA.... I know you're jealous haha. Im sorry I just had to make that comment haha.

you could use them, but i would only use them temporarily. my father had pucks under his disco for around 6 months, and when he took them out they were still fine.
