I just signed up a day or two ago after deciding to trade my 97 Cherokee for a 94 B4000. I've found lots of good info here in the tech library and have already used some of that info to do the 60/40 to bucket mod today. The truck is in dire need of some mechanical TLC in the front end due to neglect by the PO. So far I've just been colecting parts to get it back to safe and reliable condition. I still need to locate a drop pitman arm and possibly a new steering gear box if the splined shaft is worn as well. Once I have those last two parts I can start taking the front end apart and fixing it back up right.
As far as me? I'm a retired Navy machinist (MR1) and did 20 years of active duty serivce from '89 to '09. The VA is sending me back to school for two years to become a draftsman. I've always wanted to learn CAD to be able to design my own parts for my many projects (motorcycles, cars, trucks, airplanes, etc). Anyway, I hope to be able to contribute back to the site here at least as much as I get from it.
