Hello, I ran across this site while looking for parts for my ranger and decided to join. I have a 97 ranger 2wd X-cab that I bought for $100.00 and put a little time and materials into and have a great truck. Im a body and paint guy by trade and it came in handy with the ranger project. ALL the body panels have been replaced with factory metal and it sports a custom paint job(but Im getting ready to re-do) I have a pretty nice Stereo in it consisting of JVC, Kenwood, Kicker, Alpine and Boston. Yea it is miss matched but it is loud and VERY clear. Im in the market for some new wheels, more like this spring when the crappy Oregon winter is over. I use to have a set of 17" mustang cobra-R wheels on it but got board with them and put the stockers on for the winter. I think Ill go with some 18" this time and fill up the wheel wells a little more. Ive been looking for some lowered I beams for the truck but cant find any good used ones and find it a little hard to spend the $ for new ones. I will post some pics of the truck as soon a I find them on my puter.
As for what else I do. I race off road and am a support rider for KTM north America. That sounds good but I race in the almost old guy class and am not as fast as I used to be. My ranger gets me where the racing is and that is all I can ask for of it. Im married and have 2 wonderful chirldren, and yes the whole family rides too. we are a bunch of riding fools and love the outdoors. Hope to talk to some of you soon and look forward to gaining some insite in the word of the ranger... Thanks.
