ive done posted about the driveshaft before but i just now thought that when i put the motor and tranny in the truck i didnt have to move the trans crossmember. Ikno this set everything forwadr alot but ive never done anything like this. But anyways couldnt i just use a driveshaft that is the same length as the stock ranger shaft. The tranny im using is a M5ODR2.

if the output shaft of the transmissions are in the same spot, then yeah, you can use the same ds, if the output shaft moves more than a little bit, then it will have to be lengthened/shortened accordingly

ok can i measure from the crossmember bolts to the tip of the output shaft on the new trans and the old one to see if it moved any? And the stock ds wont fit the new trans so if it will fit length wise is there a yoke that i can buy that i can change out on the ds so i can use the stock one? i hope i made a little bit of sence

made no sense to me... try re-wording it for me
