Andres629's still at it! '87 BII this time!

Well, once I get OBA, the Air Locker. A front bumper that will delete all sheetmetal from the grille down with a stinger, and I thought I might eighty-six the overload leaf from the Expo leaves and also remove the spacers from the front and cut more fender away to lower the COG... but we'll see. Frame to ground height with the 35's aired up is 22.5", so with such a short wheelbase the breakover angle will be awesome, so I think I could go down another 3/4" or so... Opinions?

how much lift did you go with? damn youve got 4.5 more inches of frame height then i do

it looks good man

I went with 4.5" 2WD coils (approx 3.75-4" on 4WD) and a 1/2" spacer, and Expo leaves and Belltech 6400's out back. I think it's almost too tall though... I dunno, we'll see once I get it out wheelin' I suppose.

looks to me like you have enough room to go down a solid inch, with that short wheelbase your going to want it pretty low in those off camber situations

I don't know, haven't got the suspension moving yet. Tomorrow or the next day I'll get it out to the RTI ramp and see what happens. Then I'll know. But yes, it will likely be sketchy in off-camber with the height it is now.

any more pics? u are teasing the shit out of us...garage wheeling is cool and all but we wanna see it in the dirt:thefinger:

She'll get out in the snow... AFTER it's gets all aligned. Which is happening tomorrow. Then it's on! I'm going through withdrawals here!

Got 'er aligned! I couldn't fix the camber anymore, so it was at +2* with weight on it. No good. Drove it down to the shop I go to all the time and got 'er up on the ramp. I have loads of room everywhere, so out went the spacers and a leaf on the Expo springs. Brought it down about 3/4" or so. Stats are as follows:

Width at front axle: 75.5"
Height: 74"
Frame clearance: 21"

Enough about that... on with the flex pics!

I know, I need to do the body bushings... I have them, but I just wanna wheel!

looks pretty good, youve got plenty of room around the tires

Yep, after these pictures I went down another 3/4" or so.

sweet, the pics were worth the wait...now for some wheeling pics!!! looks dam good, so without the spacers about how much lift do u have? the 35" mtr's look mean on there:headbang:
