Andres629's still at it! '87 BII this time!

Well I just picked me up a DD/tow rig. 94 F-250 4x4, 7.3 Turbo Diesel, five speed, regular cab long box. Just need to do a clutch job on it, and off the road the BII comes. :headbang:

Man everyone seems to be getting that generation truck latly. It has me half asses thinking about selling my f150 and getting one now instead of waiting till July/august to get my 07

i guess i gotta get me a PS dd/towrig now.. lol, i wish.. someone wanna buy me one? lol

I'm picking it up today. She's a bit rusty and needs tires, but for $800 man... can't complain! She starts right up, dude's just got toomany trucks and when the clutch went in this one, he parked it. Put it up for sale, and I hopped on it. Too good a deal to pass up!

Went to do the clutch yesterday, pulled the inspection plate on the ZF, and there's plenty of clutch left. Got a helper to push the clutch down, no dice. SWEEEEEEET! I love external slaves. Two hours, $175 for a new master and slave, I have a clutch again. No dropped tranny, nothing. She runs and drives like a champ! Just needs a new bed and some new fenders and I'm golden.

I don't plan on being trailered everywhere either, but it's nice that the option is there for longer trips. Plus, IROKS are soft, and wear out even faster on a spooled rear.

badass! deffinetly my kind of truck

So in total with the cost of the truck and the slave your at $975.... I hate you lol. And you mentioned iroks? Does that mean you made your tire decision

Yep, into this truck $975, and it needs a set of tires. Going to go with at least a 33, maybe 35, we'll see. It's got 4.10's with a 7.3, I think I can afford to go up to that... lol. I'm not lifting it, maybe getting the front springs re-arced but nothing other than that. Keeping an eye out for a box and fenders though. :headbang:

IROKs are for teh BII. Awesome.

Do a shackle reversal in the front and something equal out back and rock some military 37's for cheap.

No, I want to keep this thing just the way it is. I've already got a vehicle to wheel, this one's all about DD ability, and towing. Drives down the highway great, though!
