Well heres my build thread. I've been looking around on this site for awhile now and I finally got a couple pictures to show. It's Not much but its my pride and joy. Still waiting to take better pics. So far it's totally stock other than removing my mudflaps and alittle window tint.

thanks for the reply. i plan to keep it simple being that this is my dd and i am 17 with no current source of income. haha but anyway, id like to upgrage the audio equipment, restore the interior alittle, add a few inches of lift, wheels and tires. again thanks for the reply more pics comming sooon!

do you have some outside pics? and i want another 97... i got mine when i was 17. rolled it at 19. my suggestion to you dont do that

hahaha really? I dont plan on rolling my truck any time soon. I've had a few close calls while trying to drift but nothing too serious. im at school now but ill try to get some exterior pics up when i get home. thanks for the reply

I know what its like to be 17 haha. I am right now, although I do have a source of income

yup like i said i got mine when i was 17 for 800 bucks put ball joints, wheelbearings, rotors, pads, calipers, power steering lines, rear shoes and the combi kit. ended up about another $700 and that was it thats the nice thing about having someone knowlegable helping you. weather its a friend neighbour or on here it saves you a hell of alot of $

well, i was lucky enough to get my ranger given to me for free when my grandfather passed away. but just like you did im working on replacing the basic wear and tear parts and getting the general maintenence done. but its all going pretty slow because i have no job untill the summer comes. but thanks for the replys, pictures should be comming soon. (gotta borrow someone's camera haha)

Small update: I got alittle bored yesterday and figured i would attempt to change the color of my gauge cluster overlays. BIG MISTAKE! this resulted in a missing oil pressure needle, no more functioning gear selector, and a gauge cluster covered in sharpie which replaced the missing paint caused by brakleen. off to the junkyard tomorrow to source a replacement. :(

oops didnt notice i messed up the price ive changed it i didnt get it for 7800 bucks lol i meant to say 800, that makes my point a little better

post up some pics of the whole truck so we can see what your working with..

yeah man. lets see it...

and when you upgrade audio, don't go to crazy. i have spent so much money on subs and amps and stuff that i can't get back, and i regret it now. just get some good components and maybe a single 10 inch sub. full range of music is where its at, not bump bump bass...

yea, i dont plan on going crazy with the audio. i dont have the money for it even if i wanted to, hahaha. I agree that full range of music is where its at. I just want to install some decent speakers and wire up an amp to my 12'' rockford fosgate sub that I got for free. :icon_thumby:

free is always good!

Finally got those exterior pics I've been promising. All shined up!
