I did it but it didnt smoke that much and my engine has 208k miles, figured id see more. i poured 1/3 of bottle into brake booster hydraulic line and put most of the rest into oil and had like 1/8 of it for fuel tank kinda useless but w.e.
I mean it sounds alot better now, it smoked sputtered and ran horribly at first, it was kinda windy so maybe thats why. has anyone else used seafoam? i know there are some thread on it but didnt wanna bring back old ones.

i know later im going to put a whole can into fuel tank but i have a half a tank and wanna wait till i got like 1/8 or less.

Ive had tons of white smoke and other times hardly any. The biggest secret is once you use the 3rd of the bottle is turn off the engine and let it sit for 30 minutes. Then take it out on the freeway and "blow" it out. Just because you didn't see a ton of smoke probably means your intake didn't have a butt load of carbon build up.

This may result from using 100% real gas instead of ethanol mix crap. Good rule of thumb: If you have an 03 and older model avoid E10 whenever possible!

also i had never done it before so i poured it into vacuum line and let it sit for 10 mins before turning truck on. as ive seen people do it with vehicle on and off. didnt know which works better. i do have a good highway drive to school.
and whats so frickin funny! lol

I would guess...
another seafoam topic :icon_rofl:

i used the spray. took off the airfilter hose connected to the Inlet and sprayed it in there for about 1/2 a can while running at aobut 1/8th throttle. No rpm gauge. let it sit for about 20 min. started it and it farted a little smoke and thats it.
mind you i only have about 123,000 on it. but it did seem to clear up some sputtering.

Read the instructions on how to use it or Google the instructions I think there is a part on the label that says...... to toss this can out immediately after purchase!!!
Just search on this site, Bro!! We have so many topics on it and it is sooooooooooo much posted!!!
