Dam good lookin dash!! ya wanna do mine too? haha. guess I'll use the old Sunpro gages I got from PO. just mount the 3-gage unit on top of dash above tach/speedo. their the smaller gages anyway and won't interfere with frontal vision.

Not to knock ya, but if you were tearing into it, why not replace the rest of the dash that's sun-cracked and aged?

i plan to, just haven't gotten it yet, i had the aluminum and the gauges in my garage. haven't had the time to drive an hour to the junk yard.

Great job!! I love all the gauges!

heyy thats a nice nice job you did there how did you set up the guages man mainly the mph one, im doing something similar but im having trouble connecting the mph guage to my ford ranger 1983 2.3 lima 4 cil manual trans(it has one of the mechanical vss sensor no electric wires only a cable that turns with the gear ).... any help will be highly apreciated,

You have unwittingly dredged up a thread that hasn't been touched in 6.5 years. You may do better by starting your own thread with your questions.

However, T answer based on my limited knowledge of this topic. I believe there are devices you can buy that will convert your mechanical signal to electronic to feed to an electronic speedometer. Or, you can bypass that altogether and use a GPS based speedomoter.
