Id go bosch or reman motorcraft. I have had good luck on Rock auto and Parts Geek finding oem motorcraft stuff. I located a Bosch for an Explorer (they offer 130 amp for explorers vs 95amp for rangers) which fit perfectly no mods and I am very happy with it. I will use the extra amperage to power future upgrades, like off road lights, an Efan, maybe upgraded stereo...
