I have the F.E.A.D. off of a 83 Lincoln Town Car. I choose this one for the serpentine belt. But after putting it on my truck i don't like how the driver side is cluttered. I want to move the altenator to the lower passenger side. What brackets off of what vehicle do i need to do this? I made a homemade adjusting bracket and i think it'll work, but i like the sturdiness of the factory brackets. I can mount the alternator a different way, but i can't find a grade 8 bolt 6 1/2''- 7" long. And i'm not sure is a standard bolt will hold up. Thanks

Usually they are mounted high for accessability and to stay dryer/cleaner.

What diameter is your bolt?

just get a mount from a 5.0 mustang and put it on the passenger side, and it already has a belt tensioner on it also
