Would anyone happen to have a part number for an alt belt for a 2.8 without the air pump? It's for a 1984 ranger.

I believe it is the same size as the power steering belt. You can at least use it to estimate the size for the alternator.

I looked at the late 70s pinto 2.8 and it says 34-3/4 for the alternator-fan belt.
I just looked up a 75 pinto and it lists the alternator belt including an air pump. I tried to look up an older year but I guess 75 is the first year for the 2.8 in a pinto.

pinto, mustang II and the capri all had the 2.8 in the mid to late 70s.
I just bought a belt for the power steering like you suggested and it fit the alternator perfectly. thanks
