hey guys, i have a 99 4x4 3.0 5spd. i only plan on doing some light wheeling, very light scince im in RI and there are no legal places to. I sent TRS FAB an email about getting a lift from them, and also looked some prices up on the suspension connection. I plan on putting 31.50x 10.50 bgf A/t on it. Do i need a 3" body lift, or should i got with the 2"? i reallyt wanted to put a suspension, but with the torsion setup its just to expensive to do a coilover conversion. Which would look best and work best for my application? thanks guys and ill throw some pics up ater scince you guys have never seen my ride.

id say just go with a add-a-leaf and crank the t-bars a bit that would clear it cheaply

Yeah I have a 98 and didn't even crank the torsion bars with 31/ 10.50 BFGs on mine and have no issues. If you are just doing light wheeling I wouldn't spend the money on a Body Lift, then again I am not a fan of them. You won't need the lift to clear the tires if that is what you are asking.

back should be fine, crank the t-bars to level it out and you oughta be good to go. that's what we did on my buddy's 03 (basicly the same fenders) to fit 32" radial TSLs on 15x10s. it would only rub when he somehow managed to get the front end to flex....hell, the frame would flex first.

alrite, sounds good, i have the tbars cranked a little already, but i think im gunna shy away from the lift

I'm runnin 265/75/16 which equals a 32" tire with just a t-bar crank. I know, I'm a picture whore.lol

i love the rims, but im tryin to keep this cheap lol schools goin hard and the oppurtunity to work is short, i wana look around for tires, pro comp all terrains look decent, and bfg's. what kind of rims are they and what did they run you if you dont mind me asking?

Those are really nice rims !!!

The rims are Pro line alloy wheels style 137 they are 16x8, I got them from the local Pep boys.
They only run $ 225. for a set of 4 and a set of 15" rims runs $200.,

They tires are Dayton Timberline A/T's 265/75/16, with lifetime road hazard and rotation warranty they came out to $560. for the set.

I know how you feel about money being tight, I bought a house about a year ago so I have to save and then find the best deal around before I can justify spending the "extra" money.

wait, so how much did the rims and tires come to total? thanks lol

I bought them at separate times, but less than $800. for the rims and tires.
Rims=$225.00

Tires=$560.00, mounted, balanced, lifetime road hazard, rotation, and balancing warranty
