I am very sorry for not putting this up on the Classifieds, but its a little urgent, we have a week to sell this thing.

Well, my girlfriend needs money for school, and very soon, I am offering this to you guys for a little less than what she wanted, but I am sure she will be okay with it if it is sold within a week.

Its a 1997 Ford Exploder 4wd, it has the standard 4.0 with an automatic transmission. Its running very well considering the 233,522 miles on it, she bought it at 223,432. The transmission shifts well, and the engine starts right up.

She got it used from a person around here and used it for a while because of the snow. She put a little money into it to get it running and safe when she had purchased it and it runs great.

The bad is that there is a little rust damage above the wheel-wells because they like to salt our roads. But I can fix see if I can fix that if anyone is interested. The driver's side door has a bad key-lock, it wont work, never has. There is also a small dent over the back fender. Thats about it for the bad.

She wants to see about getting $2100 for it, but as I said, she needs the money pretty bad, and I will offer it to you guys for $1900.

I will be putting up some images tomorrow after I get home from school. If you are interested please reply here or PM me and I will give her your number.

EDIT:

I will see about anyone offering around $1300 OBO

Will be completely washed, cleaned, and shiny for buyer.

I agree, seems a bit high on the price. For comparisons sake, I had a 91 Explorer with almost zero rust (even the rocker panels below the rear doors) and everything worked on it. It had somewhere around 235-237,000 miles when I sold it for 700 dollars 2 years ago.

Really depends on the demands for such a vehicle in your area.

My last Ranger was covered in dents, had 255,xxx miles on it, needed 4 new tires and had a coolant leak but everything worked except the cig lighter and I got 1350 which was a fair price. I didn't sell it to some schmuck either.

That being said, the price still seems a bit high.

Maybe you should consult with her before you sell it for a price you "think" she'll be okay with.

well, I will admit, it is overpriced, but there are a lot of smucks around here, if anyone can give me a good offer, throw it at me.

(bare in mind people are willing to give me $500 for my truck upfront)

As to the price, no crap, I talked to her about it =p, I lowered it to 1300 on here on my own though, to see if anyone will take an offer, if she is interested (good chance), then we will see.

I think a good cleaning would help out in getting a better price, but that's just my opinion!

Yeah, it would, but these were taking soon before my girlfriend was tutoring me, so I did not have long to take them. (close to dark too).

The interior will be completely cleaned before sale though. The exterior will be touched up too, like that ugly spot next to the gas tank will be cleaned, and near the rockerpanel.
