I just got my new clutch master and slave cylinder assembly. It is pre-filled and when I tried to do what the video shows I was unable to compress the Piston at all. Does that mean it is already bled and I can just go ahead and hook it up?

You should open the bleeder when installing transmission onto block, but not required

Yes, hook up quick connector(master) to slave
Take cap off reservoir
Open bleeder and you should get a little fluid flowing out, that's Gravity bleed as the fluid flows down hill from reservoir to slave, this confirms "quick connect" made a good connection

Ty RonD!! Imma go give this a try. I really pray for no air!! Lol

You will be fine (y)

When I was at achieving the line to the slave cylinder it was almost all the way in and slipped off. Do you think that sucks air into the line?

No, just keep trying it is a pain but will click into place

Ok.Im almost done. Gotta put the clutch interlock back on and fender well together.

Ugh. So the rod is different so I need to find a way to bypass the clutch interlock. I got it started but EXACT same problem!!!! The clutch engages and disengages only at the top inch or two. I'm so frustrated. What's my next step. Bleed again just to make sure?

Thats not air
Air is when, with engine running, you push clutch pedal down to the floor it won't disengage clutch all the way so you can't put transmission into any gear

What you describe is OPPOSITE of air in the system

Ok. So then what is wrong with it. Maybe I didn't describe it very well. I push the clutch to the floor. Gears shift no problem but as I let out nothing happens until the clutch is almost all the way out.

Assuming new clutch disc, you have the wrong slave or wrong throwout bearing or wrong pressure plate

If you have an old clutch disc then its too thin, worn out

The distance between bellhousing, where slave is attached, and the pressure plate forks is the problem
pressure plate||throwout bearing||slave||bellhousing

When you put transmission back on did you have to use the bellhouse bolts to FORCE the bellhouse to be flush with engine?
Bellhousing should just slide right up to engine, flush, no need to force it on by tightening bolts

I did not remove my transmission. Just replaced master cylinder and slave cylinder assembly.
Keep in mind I have not owned this truck long but when I first got it the clutch was great. Then the air happened. I bled it and was working fine for about half a day, then the clutch started doing this. My mechanic buddy stopped by and said "just pull it and replace it". I did and it is still doing the exact same thing.

So this would be an incorrect statement "Just replaced master cylinder and slave cylinder assembly."

Replacing the Master was a good thing to try, easiest thing to do
But you WILL need to replace the slave, pressure plate and clutch disc now

Use a self adjusting pressure plate(SAC) not a "regular" pressure plate

Do not use a clutch disc that mentions anything about "racing", lol, they are made of softer material so they get "sticky", and grip better when hot, but wear out in 1/2 the time of a regular clutch disc
