ALONE IN KS WRITES.....
I cant belive it there is no one else in Ks.
Just wandering I live in Great Bend Ks 67530 right in the middle of the state whom might be the closest?
ANYWAY MAY THE KS REVOLUTION BEGIN LOL

I live a ways east of you.... Liberty, Missouri 64068.

I think I might be the closest member to you, unless theres someone closer thats just not posting.

WHAT? Liberty, I live in KC by KCI. i didnt even know there was anyone that close.

haha, nice. Nevermind my question in the other thread then. We should get together sometime, man.

Strange how this kind of thing happens, eh?

yeah it is. There are a few guys on Rangerpowersports.com from around here too. Whats the down low on your truck?

Right now its body is in sorry shape, bone stock everything 'cept for a 12" Infinity woofer anda 280watt Scoche amp right behind my driver's seat. 4.0L 245ci V6, Magnaflow custom exhaust, dual 3 1/2" tips.

You mighta seen me drivin around before if you come into Liberty at all.

Just to show you what shape the body is in:

^^ A Deer did that. Didn't break anything else though....

^^^ That came from a ditch almost 2 years ago.

^^ You can kinda see there on the rightside of the bed, its been hit there twice.

Rangerpic012.jpg

^^ altogether, that what she looks like when shes dirty.

Rangerpic007.jpg

^^ Most of the underside looks like this, 'cept for the exhaust line, which 90% of it is brand new, you can see part of it, from the muffler back to both exit pipes and tips.

Despite all the poundin' shes takin over the last 3 years, still runs pretty dang good. Just got a slightly rough idle and I'm close to tracking down the cause I think. I got plans for this Ranger though.

I'm eventually (prolly another year down the road) having the truck tore apart, having it de-rusted, building a 4-link rear, puttin bags on the front suspension (lowering the truck 4 inches on front 5 in the rear), having a 12-point rollcage built, custom dash & interior, Having the body repaired and I'm gonna try and make it a bit lighter, re-enforcing the frame, having a Ford 302 dropped in along with 4STB trans (EOD with a manual valve body), gonna install a 6-71 Blower, new driveshaft, new 8.8 inch positrack rear-end 31-spline, going with 4.10 gears.

Yeah this is gonna be expensive, lol

haha seriously how many jobs do you have?! Looks like we are about as opposite as they come. No pictures of mine yet since i dont have a camera and im lazy, but i have a 94, 4.0 5spd(if you have a tranny ill buy it!) 4x4. Stock for now, but trying to get a flowmaster 40 for it. I have a 5.5" lift for it when i get a few more bucks, fix the tranny and time to put it in. Hopefully get some ext radius arms, and regear to 4.56's so i can run 33's. Unfortunetly i have a bunch of stuff stuck on hold due to tranny issues. Love my truck though. O and a huge ass box with two ten in Duals in it. It hits pretty good for only 100 bucks.

Sounds like a decent truck. I don't have any spare Trannies, just the one in my Ranger right now :p

As for the flowmaster 40, not sure where to pick it up... but theres a muffler shop in Kearney called "Kearney Muffler and Weld"... its where I had the exhaust on mine done. The guys name is "Jerry", he deals mainly with Magnaflow, but he might be able to get some flowmaster stuff for you.

Eventually I'm going to have a second truck that'll be my offroader/tow rig. Probably end up being another Ranger, lol.

That would be cool. Im trying to find some trails around here, tough though.

I haven't actually heard of any trails around here. I haven't gone looking though.

Gonna have to ask a buddy of mine if theres any around next time I see him.

whoa hey everyone didnt realize there was more local action. We should do a get together/trail thing some time.

I'd be in for it, but I just moved. Live about a 6 hours drive away now =/
