b&m shifter and necessary brackets
lokar tv cable
explorer exhaust manifold
super duty radiator

there are a lot of small things also but these are the major items
after the install, I'll have to get the driveshaft cut
and take it to the muffler shop for cats and pipes.

A truck? :icon_twisted:

You are going to need a dual sump pan with the pickup and pickup mounting stud if you don't already have it.

Any plans to mod the 302 or keeping her stock?

Not much point in modding that 302. Weak block, weak crank, bad heads.

Where are you located? I have a 90 AOD for sale from a super coupe. I am switching to a manual and haven't gotten around to craigslisting it. It has everything you need to put it into your truck with a carb w/ the Lokar cable (you also need bracket SRK-4000 and the lokar accelerator cable as it's necessary for assembly, but it is possible to mod and use your stock accelerator cable, but the Lokar throttle cable is more ideal to use and will look worlds better). B&M Sport shifter still bolted to the ranger floor plate even.

Do you have a 5.0 for sale (or know of one that is priced right that is a roller)? Im looking into a 5.0 swap. But I need a tranny that can have a tansfercase but not as worried about that as an enigne at this time.

I have a 91 Marquis engine, but I have no idea what condition it's in - got it in a trade, but the PO was going to run it as-is. I was keeping it as a spare roller block, and IMO it would need disassembled and looked over. Didn't want things to rust, so I kept it all together. E6SE heads. Has the restrictive Explorer manifolds on it (I have a set of 89500s going for sale, but not sure how they work w/ 4wd), and I have most of the FEAD. No intake, or anything above that, but valve train is complete.

I would be willing to part with it, but I am not sure if it would be worth it for you - it's a little more than a 2hr drive. But I'd be willing to let you dig into it before buying.

I have heard they don't fit too bad on a 4wd, there are pics of them mounted floating around out there somewhere.

as far as the truck its a 90 2wd short bed, 7.5 posi rear end. I wasnt planning on running a dual sump as the engine has a rear sump on it now. everything I have read says that will work fine.

You will need to upgrade the rearend to an 8.8, preferably the explorer one. You can run the 7.5 but you will have to be nice to it.

As for headers for a 4wd, remeber that I have done a SAS with 5 inches or so of lift in the front and there is no crossmemeber in my way other then tranny.

Not really, especially with a '83 302 with just over 100hp stock.

I have pounded on mine and it hasn't had a problem yet.

that should be enough parts to do the swap. I used an edelbrock 4bbl 500cfm carb for my old 302 and i used the tuning kit to make it run smooth.
