Almost got rid of my ranger

I think you need to do a little more research and to determine whether you are looking at 2wd lifts or 4wd lifts. 98 and 99 have the same suspension in 4wds.

maybe it was 97 then but it was the previous one i was just using an example... ya it was wrong year i was saying. it was the 4 inch lifts for 4wd. well so far just replacing parking brake cables for rear and got a hardware kit for them, new coil pack as mine needs replacing. i went to autozone and the dude said bosch makes motorcraft? i was like wtf? cause someone on here told me to get motorcraft's cause bosch was crap. idk and idc, im jus makin engine run for hopefully 40k more miles and ill have no prob affording a v8 swap. itll also give me time to collect all the little pieces and see how far im willing to go. I seen a 45k miles v8 5.0 from explorer from a site, but after i googled reviews of site found out people get different parts then they ordered and are hung up on as soon as they call up to complain. not ordering from them. i cant stand that theres so many rip off engine order sites out there. i was like 845 bucks for a 45k miles 1999 explorer engine sounded too good. i just need to buy a parts explorer or something... i hate trying to find all these parts. but if i want it i gotta.

Idk when the last guy replaced shocks they are ancient... Ordered pro comp es9000 through Jims site. It is true he's at least 3 bucks cheaper for stuff then anyone else. 157 with shipping. That I'm knowledgeable enough to do myself. After I put my son to sleep I'm putting new coil pack in and tomorrow I'm putting fuel filter in. Hope that fixes my boggin on highway. Dude had 2 of my spark plug wires disconnected... I'm mad... Said it ran better... Cause coolant destroyed 2 of the sockets in old coil. W.e.... Can't wait maybe thats why my cruise control stopped working and my engine bumps.... Ugh well fall asleep son!!! I got work to do.

Going slow so far. Coil pack, plugs, fuses, belltech 6400. Sprayed rear frame with black rubberized underbody coating. Got new lights all around as my backs were cracked, my headlights had water in them, and my side lights were held on by screws up top. Disappointed in sidelights. Just wanted a cheap pair... And that's what I got. Really ugly diff lookin online. I like my tails though, still waiting on headlights. They better not be disappointing. Doing basic fixer up things. Later as I build more money, yes I would like the prerunner setup but it's hard with a 4x4 without dropping 3600 on front end alone. I need my 4x4 in Massachusetts. Otherwise I spinout everywhere in snow and ice.

I floored it down my street other day and slid sideways for like 15 feet. Stupid ice.If anyone know components for front end to help with, that'd be great. Too bad I can't fit springs down there...
