Anyone out there ever use the Allstar performance v-8 swap kit?looking for a swap kit that has as many components as possible so im not searching all over the place for parts.this kit comes with oil pan and a radiator which the jegs kit doesn't for 599.00.not sure if its worth it or not?any help would be great.

cheaper to get single parts from autozone and/or ebay, facebook marketplace. If no one knows buy one and let us know how it worked out for you. Do a write up with photos.

- A 1992 Thunderbird 5.0 dual sump oil pan worked perfectly in my 87 Ranger, but it's what came on my engine, so it already had the oil pick-up tube...

- Heddman 88400 headers fit great. https://www.ebay.com/itm/Hedman-884...6126?_trksid=p2349526.m4383.l4275.c1#viTabs_0

- Early Bronco rubber motor mounts worked well with the standard Transdapt engine mounting plates. One corner had to be ground down the tiniest bit for block clearance. The Allstar rubber mounts look to be early Bronco mounts and the engine plates seem to be identical to the Transdapt units.

- My radiator was purchased from Ebay. Aluminum with the 90 degree filler neck. It tucks inside the core support and gives you a TON of room. So much room I can run a mechanical fan AND I just finished adding an aftermarket A/C condenser in front of the radiator. Well worth the extra cash: https://www.ebay.com/itm/FORD-302-R...510326&hash=item262618473e:g:oxkAAMXQgJRQ-rSc

- The Allstar oil filter relocation kit is the same as the Transdapt unit. If I had it to do all over again, I'd spend the extra money for the L&L relocation kit. It would be very nice to be able to clock the oil filter adapter any direction you like.

My advice is to start Googling these parts until you find part numbers, and year ranges they were meant to fit. Then Google those parts numbers and details to find the best prices on individual parts. I did that and saved myself hundreds in the end.

You'll have to do your own research to find out stuff like this.

There are some tri y headers on ebay for under 80.
